A German-speaking community in Pretoria
You live in Pretoria or nearby and sometimes miss a circle where humour, language and culture fit together? Then you have come to the right place. Schlaraffia Castra Praetoria has been bringing together German-speaking men from South Africa, Germany, Austria and Switzerland for more than four decades.
Twice a month, on Tuesdays at 7 p.m., we meet at our Burg in Ashlea Gardens. Work and everyday life stay outside; inside there are talks, songs, rhymes and above all laughter. A visit as a guest costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
